We invite you to a unique lodging experience in our treehouse located in a secluded forest only a short walk from the main Inn. The treehouse is 30 feet in the air and is suspended by three large Oak trees. Sit back, listen, and watch as all the wildlife scurry about both above and below. Also feel the slight sway of the treehouse as the wind moves through the canopy.
The treehouse is off the grid, but has all the amenities that will make your stay comfortable and enjoyable year round. There is a queen size bed, a full size futon, and a single bed in a loft, accommodating up to five. Gas and oil lamps light the treehouse at night and there is a wood stove for cold nights. The treehouse also has a well equipped kitchen with sink, two burner stove, plenty of counter surface, and dishes/utensils. Fresh drinking water is provided and a cooler with ice is available for food storage. There is a bathroom that has a compost toilet and a sink for cleaning. Currently the treehouse does not have a shower, but we will provide an alternative accommodation at the Inn for all bathing needs.
Easy access is provided by a ramp so no climbing is required.
