From the North

From Columbus take State Route 33 South to Athens.  See directions from Athens below.

From Cleveland take Interstate 71 to Columbus then take Interstate 70 East to State Route 33, Lancaster exit.  Take State Route 33 to Athens.  See directions from Athens below.

From Toledo, take Interstate 75 to Findlay, then take state Route 586 to 23 South into Columbus.  Take 270 to State Route 33, Lancaster exit.  Take Route 33 to Athens.  See directions from Athens below.

From East

From Youngstown take Interstate 76 to Akron, then take Interstate 77 to Marietta.  From Marietta take 7 South to 50 through Athens to state Route 32/50 directions from Athens below.

From Akron, take Interstate 77 to Marietta take 7 South to State Route 50 through Athens to State Route 32.  See directions from Athens below.

From the South

Take State Route 33 North to Athens.  See directions from Athens below.

From the West

From Dayton take 35 South toward Cillicothe, then take State Route 50 to State Route 32.  Turn right onto State Route 32 and left onto State Route 143.  See directions from 143 in directions from Athens below.

From Cincinnati take State Route 32 to state Route 143 South.  Turn right onto State Route 143 South.  See directions from 143 in the directions from Athens below.

From Athens:

Take State Route 50/32 West for about 10 miles.  When Route 50 splits off from 32, remain on 32 which is the Appalachian Highway.  About a half mile after the split, turn left onto State Route 143 South.  Drive five miles on 143, a winding two-lane road.  When you come to the town of Carpenter, make a right turn immediately after crossing the railroad tracks, where you will see a white sign for our Inn.  This is Carpenter Hill.  At the top of the hill after the road evens out, bear to your right.
